Angel Gutierrez
Chief Advancement Officer

Angel Gutierrez brings over 25 years of executive management and leadership, governance, financial management, fundraising, operations, policy development, and program management experience in both small and large nonprofit organizations focused on health, human services, and education. His extensive career includes roles such as Chairman of the Board, CEO, Vice President, Department Director, and currently, Chief Advancement Officer.

In his role at Chicago Hope Academy High School, Angel and his team have raised over $7 million in the past year. Previously, as Vice President of Institutional Advancement for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago (CCAC), he led his team to achieve a record $110 million in philanthropic growth over three years.

Angel has served in significant leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board for St. Daniel the Prophet Grammar School (2022-2023) and Co-Chair of the Nuestro Futuro (Hispanic Heritage Fund) at the Chicago Community Trust, and now the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance in Chicago.

A native Chicagoan, Angel has received several accolades, including the Recognizing Exemplary Service Award from the Chicago Community Trust and Nuestro Futuro, Chicago Latino Professional of the Year by the Chicago Latino Network, and the Community Service Award from the Rauner YMCA. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Roosevelt University, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Loyola University, and Certificates in Fundraising, Nonprofit Leadership, and Courageous Leadership Driving Future Growth in Nonprofits from the University of Notre Dame and Northwestern.
