Eduardo Camacho
Eduardo Camacho has been a cornerstone of the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance (PRAA), serving as Vice Chairperson of the Board for an impressive 15 years. His contributions as Marketing Committee Chair and Co-Chair of PRAA's Capital Campaign reflected his deep commitment to advancing the organization's mission. Under his leadership, the Marketing Committee spearheaded transformative communication and outreach strategies, strengthening PRAA’s visibility and engagement.
Drawing on 14 years of professional expertise in public and private real estate finance and development, Eduardo played a pivotal role in securing over $3 million in funding alongside former Executive Director Carlos Hernandez. Eduardo’s leadership extended to acting as a key liaison with the City of Chicago, State of Illinois, Cook County, attorneys, architects, and contractors. His vision and collaborative approach guided the planning and construction of PRAA’s properties, expanding the organization’s footprint from borrowed space in the Humboldt Park Field House to a thriving, five-property Elbridge complex in Avondale. Eduardo's dedication has left a lasting legacy, solidifying PRAA’s role as a vital cultural institution.
